Junior High students research & explore world geography with this creative workbook, a companion to Let’s Go Geography Year 1.  Please note that Internet Access is required to adequately research each country.

Students create a personalized geography Atlas as the weeks unfold.  With 2 journaling pages per country, students answer questions and fill in basic information on the first page, and then branch out to research themed topics on the 2nd page.

Maps are another key part of every lesson, beginning with a continent map, and then zeroing in on the week’s theme country with a separate country map worksheet.

Lastly, each week features a new geography term to add to the Glossary in the back of this book.  Students look up definitions, illustrate terms, and write down real-world examples.

Top all of this off with the photos & video clips from the Let’s Go Geography (Year 1) basic curriculum for a well-rounded picture of the week’s theme country.

Continents, Countries, & Cultures, Year 1, schedules 32-weeks of activities, with 2 weeks for general geography, 27 weeks for 27 different world countries/regions, and 3 weeks for Review Games & Quizzes.  Note that the Review Weeks take the place of other country weeks in the K-5 curriculum.  Please see the schedule on this page.
